How Billing Works
See when shipping and plan fees are charged, how extra charges work, and how to pay invoices.
Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are charged instantly each time you create a shipment.
- If you have sufficient account balance, the fee is deducted from your balance.
- If your balance is insufficient, the fee is charged directly to your saved credit card.
Keeping your balance topped up ensures uninterrupted shipment creation even without a card on file.
For shipments created with Shipink agreements, VAT is added only to domestic (Türkiye → Türkiye) shipments. Shipments leaving or entering Türkiye are charged without VAT.
Where a Shipink agreement service has a separate same-city price list, shipments whose sender and recipient are in the same city are priced from that list.
Extra Charges
For shipments created with Shipink agreements, extra charges that arise after the shipment is created are also collected from your balance:
- Desi difference: When the desi measured by the carrier is higher than the one entered on the shipment, the difference.
- Return-to-sender fee: When an outgoing shipment can't be delivered and comes back to you.
- Heavy-load handling fee: A per-piece fee for heavy pieces, applied once the carrier (e.g. Aras Kargo) has measured the shipment.
- Mobile delivery fee: Charged once when the carrier delivers an outgoing shipment through a mobile service point, for services that have a mobile fee price list. The amount comes from the service's desi price table. Return shipments are not charged this fee.
These charges are listed under Son işlem kayıtları (Recent Transactions) with their own transaction types. If your balance is insufficient, the charge is added to your balance as debt and collected automatically once your balance covers it. Unpaid extra charges are also collected with your next card-paid shipment or when you pay an invoice.
Plan Fees
Your subscription plan fee is not charged immediately when you switch plans. Instead, it is included in your monthly invoice and collected after the invoice is generated.
If you have label credit, label fees are paid from it first; only what the credit doesn't cover goes on the invoice.
Invoices
Invoices are generated between the 1st and 5th of each month, covering all charges from the previous month. Plan fees from the previous month are collected at this point.
A separate International shipment invoice is issued for your international shipments. Since those shipments were already paid from your balance, this invoice doesn't need to be paid.
You can view your recent transactions on the My Account page under Son işlem kayıtları (Recent Transactions).
Invoices are paid from your balance. If the balance is insufficient, only the missing amount is added from your card using 3D Secure. The invoice amount is then deducted from your balance.
Note: If your account is suspended for an unpaid invoice, you can still open your My Account page to view and pay the outstanding invoice. Paying it restores access to your account.
